HI, I'M LIBBY!

Mural of Escalante River
Two-Part Mural of Jordan River Parkway and Pfeifferhorn peak

Welcome to my website: Libby's Art Place! I am so excited to finally have a home for my artwork and another opportunity to make new connections!

Here's me in a nutshell..

I've been making art basically forever. I grew up in Missouri and moved to southern Utah in 2017 to join a conservation corps. For several months I was living just minutes outside of Zion National Park and experiencing a ton of firsts: camping, backpacking, sawing trees, canyoneering, building trails, climbing, and generally learning about myself everyday. Needless to say, I fell in love and decided to stay. After the corps, I transferred from the University of Missouri to the University of Utah and graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor's degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism.

All the while, I continued making art and exploring with watercolors. My first big commission was a three-part mural at the U of U illustrating (below: left to right) the Escalante River, the Jordan River Parkway, and the Pfeifferhorn.

I had so much fun sharing art with people on campus that I started doing more and more. Check out my past work and commission process here.

Being outside and connecting with people are my favorite things to do, and I try to show this in my paintings. Making and sharing art is special, and I feel lucky every time I have the opportunity to do it.

While you're here, feel free to check out my portfolio, shop around, or come say hi! Thank you for your support!
